I'm truly sorry I'm too busy and lazy to write all my blog markings in english. Though I promise to write all work related things in english as well.

Summoning salmon

Hello

Since my fishing luck this summer has been relatively bad I thought mayby I could do a fish of my own. I've been checking some Zbrush tutorials lately and I thought mayby it's good to go the whole pipeline thru once again. Fish is a simple thing to model but still it has interesting features to create in Zbrush. Now the model is almost ready meaning tomorrow it's Zbrushing day. :)

...here's some changes I made to get everything ready for sculpting. It's important the model is structured in a right way. I think it's pretty good for now.

DIY-human

Some update to Zbrush-buddy. Well now I got something done because this is so fun to do. This far it has taken some five hours but the most of it has been just testing the various tools Zbrush contains. I watched a few more tutorials and it's clearing to me bit by bit.

This far I came in one evening, that's some five hours. Just to get practise I made a totally new base from Zspheres. This is getting simplier all the time even though there's still a lot of work to do. I doubt I'm going to model this character all the way to smallest details. Instead I'm going to start a new one at some point to repeat the basics. You have to know the basics! I don't think it's anything to praise for but I didn't use any references this far. I have to get some though...

Half an hour with the Zbrush3

Tsadaa! Finally I've got some time to play with the Zbrush3 and instantly I fell in love with it. What a great program! I'm sure tomorrow I have even more time to play around :D I watched a tutorial about Zspheres. I remember I tried Zspheres already in Zbrush2 but back then I never realized how to make the topology correct. Now it looks much better and of course there's these topology tools to fix if there's any errors in the mesh created from Zspheres.

Anyway, I created a very fast..about 20 minutes, bipedal character and I think it came out OK as far as this is my first time in long time.
