There has been lost of stuff happening lately so it's pretty hard to find out where to start. First of all unfortunately I've been kinda ill. Last week I was at home (sitting in toilet) for a stomack flu and before that there was about tree weeks of common cold I had. That sucks but no worries I haven't been just laying around.

Because of the characteristics of my job I'm sitting in front of the computer atleast 8 hours a day but to be honest it's more like 12hours a day... that's because I've been trying to reduce the time I spent with computer at home. Unfortunately and fortunately I have to take my Wacom back to work where I lended it previously so now I just have to paint on real canvas instead of Photoshop's or Painter's canvas...and that brings us to the next issue!

I found out I had some acrylic and watercolors (or pencil if you like) sprawling in closets around my apartment. I didn't even remember I had some :P Anyway I bought some small canvases and painted some animals. I really like illustrating animas and I've been drawing lots of them in my concept book but these are the first I've painted. I think they came out OK. It's so great to create lights and shadows and basicly just feeling with colors.

Oh! and just as a "small" detail I just saw our movie Niko, way to the stars first time in cinema couple days ago :D It REALLY is a great animation movie. I was so worried and I think I had couple heartattacks at cinema waiting there's someting wrong with the film but it was all more than OK! It was just as good it was when I saw the first animatic almost two years ago. There's a new trailer (only in Finnish) in the movie's website. Go see the movie 10.10.2008!
