Hello you, thanks for coming! This is a short briefing about me.
From the very first years with computer I've been concern with computer graphics. I remember my neigbour's kids were enthusiastic computer users and one of them introduced me a program called 3d studio for Microsoft DOS. I was blown away for the animation he show me about a lamppost with a light making a spot on the ground and camera moving around it. Another thing I remember from that time is some "3d" logos they've made with Deluxe paint. Those graphics including many games I played as a kid made me interested in 3d and 2d computer graphics.
I played around with 3d studio max and photoshop as a kid every now and then but when my friend Jussi introduced me Lightwave3d at highshool things went more "serious". In the beginning I think my worst barrier learning new things was the language barrier and I really had hard time learning basic tools etc. Since then things have gone to a better direction not only for me but everyone. There is so much great content, people and forums online these days learning is much easier than ten years ago. One great thing these days are video tutorials, I just love 'em!
In contrary to computer stuff I do a lot of different sports from basic gym training to floorball and downhill cycling. I'm also an enthusiastic fisherman and especially at fall I'm spending time in my old hometown Viitasaari with my family fishing and hunting.
I love the nature and I hate those who ruin it on purpose. In the nature I see art in its most pure form because there is not just the beautiful forms for my eyes but the wind and the sun and the sounds. Even the unpleasant feelings like chilling icy storm make nature the great thing it is because man is no more god there.
A new personal record and this year's seasonal one for our gang has been set! This 6,7kg pike mama was caught by my brother Jani from Viitasaari Sunday 21st of June. This means even more intense sitting at lakeside for all the rest of us. Congratulations.
